See and do more on two wheels. The Bright to Myrtleford (or vice versa) section of the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is a classic High Country adventure taking in iconic views and locations over 31km of sealed trail. Kickstart your day with breakfast at The Riverdeck Kitchen, Ginger Baker Café, Wild Thyme Café or Food Wine Friends before heading out past the iconic 'Welcome to Bright' sign. Take a breather in Porepunkah and a swim in the Porepunkah Riverside Park or stop at Ringer Reef Winery for a glass of their delectable rosé served over mountain views.
Your route then takes on through the famous tree avenue outside Feathertop Winery that bursts with colour in Autumn. Just as your legs are calling for a stop Pepo Farms warmly awaits in Ovens. Enjoy a tasting of pumpkins and nuts in all flavours and stock up on local produce gifts. Your journey culminates in Myrtleford where you can refuel with awesome Middle-Eastern food at Cafe Fez, a locally roasted brew at Coffee Chakra and check out the retail stores.
Whether you're riding fast or making it a full day adventure, you're sure to end the ride grinning. Visiting in Autumn? This route is resplendent with red and gold leaf photo opportunities.
