Come on a flight that solo pilots travel across Australia (and the world), to try to bag for themselves! Cross Country flying is the art of riding thermals up to the clouds, before gliding to the next mountain peak to climb again.

It's a true expression of unpowered, free flight, and their local tandem pilots are some of the best in the country at it.

A cross country flight with Bright Flight is an exploration of our home mountain peaks. Depending on the day, you might cover 20km's, see snow covered peaks as far away as NSW, or soar with (friendly) Wedge Tailed eagles. You'll see why a true Cross Country flight is the goal of many new solo pilots.

You'll meet in the Landing Paddock before the drive up the hill with your pilot, and the team will brief you on what to expect next.

All up, the experience takes around 2.5 hours, and there is simply nothing that compares to exploring the air above you.
