Since its founding in the 1840s, Tawonga has blossomed from a pioneering settlement to a close-knit community that treasures its roots and beautiful landscape.
To honour this milestone, everyone - residents, visitors, and anyone with a connection to Tawonga - is invited to a weekend of celebration and reflection on the rich history, resilience, and the vibrant community that continues to thrive here. Everyone is welcome - don't miss out!
Hosted by the Tawonga & District Community Association, the celebrations will include the following:
Friday 28 March - Bush Dance and pizza at Tawonga Memorial Hall (6pm)
Saturday 29 March - Free Community Festival at Pioneer Memorial Park featuring sausage sizzle, animal nursery, kid's activities and historical displays (10am - 2pm)
Sunday 30 March - Ecumenical Service at St Aidan's Anglican Church (10am)
