Roll out of Mount Beauty on 10km of sealed country roads before ascending on bush tracks shared with 4WDs into rugged and remote bushland. Climb to altitude to enjoy changing scenery, abundant birdlife, and views of Mt Bogong and Mt Kosciuszko. As the route is very remote, only expert riders should take on this challenge, needing to be experienced and self-sufficient with a pre-organised lift or the fitness to return via the same route.
