New Trails For Mystic MTB Park

Gravity Passes expected to sell out these school holidays!

Mystic Bike Park’s new operators have been carving out some sweet new lines and plan to open new trails as we head into what’s traditionally the park’s mintiest time of year.

“We have a huge trail upgrade program underway; our team are working hard to have all key trails running at their best for the upcoming school holidays,” says Elevation Parks.

Elevation Parks—which runs Maydena Bike Park and is affiliated with renowned trail builder Dirt Art—took over operations at Mystic at the start of July and recently launched the first round of trail upgrades.

Three trails have received major maintenance, reshaping and features, including the blue trail Flowmingo, black trail Old English, and the climbing trail Stairway to Shreddin’. An overhaul of the Hero jumps line is currently in the works with the trail set to reopen soon.

Most excitingly, construction of new trails is about to begin, with planned openings ahead of summer that will coincide with a formal ‘relaunch’ of Mystic under its new management.

But no need to wait until then to come and ride. As we hit Spring and the September school holidays, riding conditions are prime, with warmer days transforming the winter damp into the most shredworthy loam.

If you’re planning a visit, our advice is to book your entry passes now to avoid disappointment. We expect this to be one heck of a year and Gravity Passes—which include unlimited shuttles—are likely to sell out during the September school holidays. Don’t stress if you miss out on a Gravity Pass. Mountain Passes are also available and include ride-in and e-bike access to all of Mystic’s trails.

And don’t forget, mountain bike hire, including e-bikes, is available in town from All Terrain Cycles, Cycle Path, and Bright Electric Bikes.

See you on the trails!
